Dry shampoo is a hair savior. In it’s most basic usage, it masks oil from your hair and extends your blowout. But there’s so much more to it than making day 3 hair look fresh. I’m sharing the ways I use HASK dry shampoo which you might not have thought of before. HASK has released 4 new dry shampoos this year: Argan, Coconut, Charcoal, and Chia Seed. I love HASK products (you can see my shampoo review HERE), especially since they are made with no sulfates, parabens, phthalates, gluten and artificial colors. Mine is the coconut dry shampoo, and it smells so amazing. HASK products are available at Ulta Beauty – you can check out these dry shampoos listed below:

Hold My Curls
I’m not a huge fan of hairspray. Personally, the smell does affect my sensitivity to migraines, and I find that it often leaves my hair undesirably stiff. Dry shampoo is a great alternative to hairspray as it does contain some holding power. It’s a natural, flexible hold that’s appropriate for everyday style and does not leave your hair crunchy. Just spray the product into your curls, shake it out, and done!
Add Volume to a Ponytail
While my hair is naturally voluminous, for some reason in a ponytail it falls flat. Because dry shampoo is intended to add volume, I use it to add interest to my pony tail. First, I section my ponytail and apply dry shampoo. Then, I tease the hair by the hair band. The ponytail is then finished off by wrapping a small amount of hair around the band and securing it with a spin pin.

I’ve never used dry shampoo. I’m not sure it would work on my hair type but it sounds really useful! I may have to just try and see what happens!

It’s great to conceal oil at the roots between washes. I’d say start with that!
