Although I grew up in NYC winter always comes as a shock to me. Staying warm is a basic life need for me – I blame it on my Caribbean blood, lol! It’s time for polar vortexes and snow so nowadays I’m always bundled up. On the days I’m not wearing my ankle length puffer I still want to be stylish of course! It’s a tough task so I wanted to share with you all how I try to stay warm in the winter.
Obviously cozy layers are the first step …
Oversized moto wool coat (Banana Republic but a Marshall’s find! – similar HERE)
Turtleneck tee (Abercrombie & Fitch – similar HERE)
… follow that by only the warmest accessories …
Beanie (Forever21 – similar HERE)
Plaid Scarf (Gap – similar HERE)
… and finally, boot up with over the boots that give you looooooong legs for days.
Kitten heel over the knee boots (Zara – similar HERE)
I tied this look together with a couple of oldies but goodies, but you can scroll below for some more inspiration 🙂
