You have not been to Queens if you haven’t seen the Unisphere. The Unisphere is a gigantic metal representation of the Earth, located in Flushing Meadows Corona Park. It’s fitting as Queens is the most diverse NYC borough, and aptly dubbed “The World’s Borough.” Because of its proximity, Flushing Meadows was my backyard growing up. As a result, countless childhood memories were made in this park like my many walks to see the Unisphere in the spring and summer. It’s a place for children to play, friends and families to gather, and lovers to hang out. If I had to define Queens by anything, it would be by this amazing landmark.
I’m wearing a flowy, floral cold shoulder dress and bag by Rebecca Minkoff. I paired the dress with a light army green jacket and buckled heels by Madewell. The dress was originally purchased with an asymmetric maxi hem, but I had it altered to a midi length. I’ve grown to love the no fuss feel of midi dresses. The length is so appropriate for a day in the park. I’ve linked a few similar styles below that you can shop!
If you’re in need of a break from the big city, the Unisphere provides a respite from the hectic city lifestyle. Experience my favorite part of the borough where I grew up!

I’m missing the city now! When I first went to NYC I stayed in the Queens area for a bit because my friends lived there and I loved it! So much diversity and so much life! I definitely make my way there every time I’m in the city.
I love your outfit as well <3 I'm always down for a flowy dress <3
