I always mention this, because it’s so important to me – style does not mean expensive. All throughout NYFW, I wore thrifted clothing. It made outfit planning less daunting for my wallet since I could still wear designer clothing that was affordable. In my previous NYFW trends post, I mentioned that pink was a huge NYFW street style & runway trend, and I could not skip out! I usually prefer muted tones, so this bright pink was definitely a step outside of the box for me, but that’s what fashion week is for…taking risks!
This beret was gifted to me by thredUP. I wore Alice + Olivia high waisted pants that I purchased from The RealReal over a polka dot romper from Zara. It was definitely unconventional to layer this way, but it worked perfectly! I don’t think anyone realized this wasn’t a top 😉 Lastly, in keeping with my color scheme for the day and a low enough heel for the walking NYFW demands, my salmon colored mules from Forever21 were the perfect shoes to wear. My jacket was a sample sale by at a Rebecca MInkoff sample sale (it was $10!!!) and the bag was also Rebecca Minkoff, also purchased at The RealReal.
I’ve mentioned before that The RealReal is a fabulous place to get affordable designer clothing. Even though I do share affiliate links in partnership with The RealReal, I’m a huge fan of the site. You can save some big bucks by shopping luxury consignment. An extra bonus is that it’s sustainable!! Those check off all my shopping requirements in my book. Another goodie – if you sign up to shop at The RealReal, you’ll get a $25 shopping credit! Click here to sign up!
Because it’s luxury consignment, you’ll rarely find doubles of the same product, so here are some similar items you can shop now on The RealReal!

Thanks, Patricia!! The top was actually a romper that I wore under pants 😉
