With 2018 officially in full swing, it’s time to kick it off in style!! I’m keeping a keen eye as this year’s style unfolds and found the top items on your Instagram feed at affordable prices. Each of the collages with this year’s must haves below are fully shoppable so click & shop away!
Clear PVC Bags

I’m totally obsessed with STAUD’s Shirley tote! It’s literally a “What’s in my bag?” Instagram post out in public. This bag is actually attainable at $210, though it easily sells out. Plus, you know I’m looking for a way to save you some cash 😉
Little Sunglasses

Oh, hello 90s. I cannot attest to the functionality of these sunnies – they’re far too small to actually block the sunlight. I do know that they look incredibly edgy and are the perfect fashion statement. My favorite sunglasses are oval shaped glasses, and cat-eye lenses are a close second!
Everyday Suiting

There’s no better time to look like a girl boss than 2018. Enter the monochrome, colorful suit. I really love a lavender coordinated blazer and pants, but my favorite is a bright yellow suit (PS – Stay tuned for my take on this soon!!). To make it suitable for everyday, wear it with a pair of sneakers for an ultra comfort look.
Big Sneakers
From right to left: Adidas Crazy 8 ADV Sneaker | Superga 2790 Platform Sneaker | Fila Disrupter Sneakers | Nike Airmax 95 LX | Steve Madden ZOLA Sneakers
This chunky, big sneaker trend has returned with a designer twist. So far, I have seen Balenciaga and Louis Vuitton debut two sneakers with more sole than shoe and although they are massive, they’re the talk of the town. I’m saving up to purchase Nike’s Air Max, which emulate this retro big sneaker trend. If you’re wondering how to wear it, I find that these sneakers work best to dress down a suit or a floral dress.
Still going strong: Cult Gaia Bag
From right to left: Miuco Bamboo Ark Bag | Black Handheld Clutch | Lilleth Collapsible Tote.
Maybe it’s because Spring is on the horizon, I thought that the Gaia’s Ark bag by Cult Gaia that got so much buzz last year would be a dying fad. I was wrong. Lately, I have seen no less than 15 Instagram posts daily with that beautifully constructed bag. Luckily, you won’t have to fork over $150+ for this it bag of warmer seasons (or get on a waitlist) with affordable options on Amazon, true vintage versions on Etsy, and even Urban Outfitters. Another knock out is Cult Gaia’s Lilleth bag, a rounded (and foldable!) bag that I always take with me on vacation.
Which is your favorite must have trend this year?
