I’m no stranger to monthly styling services. Stitch Fix, one of many of these types of services, serves up clothing delivered straight to your home based on your personal style. The style quiz feels long, but it’s crucial to getting your exact match for their stylists and the best fit for what you’ll get.
Here’s how it works: After completing the quiz, a stylist will put together your “Fix.” A $20 styling fee is charged, but will only be applicable after you receive the items and decide which ones you will keep. Once you receive the Fix, you’ll have three days to try on the items. Return anything you don’t like, and pay for what you keep! By the way – the styling fee goes towards paying for your “keeps.”
I am a VERY complicated shopper, and was very nervous when placing my Stitch Fix order. The anxiety especially kicked it when it came to bottoms: pants and denim specifically. Bottoms in general rarely fit since I usually have gaping at the waist with a more snug fit around the butt and thigh area.
The surprising thing is: everything fit! I received a pair of jeans, a light bomber jackets, boots, and two tops. Although it all fit, I only kept the two tops:
- Mabry Chambray Button Down Top by Billy T
- Gradodia Crewneck Pullover by RD Style
You may have seen my previous post, so I decided against jeans for now. The bomber jacket was also nice, but a better fit for warmer weather. Finally, I already have a pair of red boots I absolutely adore and didn’t want to be redundant. Had I kept everything, I would be able to receive 25% off the entire purchase!
Curious to see what you would get with your Fix? Sign up and get styled! You’ll also get free shipping, which is a HUGE plus!
