It’s cold, it’s almost winter, it’s time to bundle up… in style, of course. Somewhere between Halloween and Thanksgiving the weather begins to shift to the bitter cold of winter, lasting well into the first few months of the following year. I love a utilitarian puffer coat while I’m handling personal errands, but sometimes you have to break out of the sea of black coats that floods New York City annually. Enter the three styles I’m currently obsessed with this season:
Teddy Coat
Arguably the most comfortable, coziest coat, you’ll feel as warm and cuddly as a teddy bear in these coats. I love the short pile because it feels much more low maintenance than a fur coat with a higher pile.
Animal Print
I honestly could not leave this out – animal prints have hit the fashion scene HARD. Keep it simple with a classic silhouette and wool-blend, or go edgy in a faux leather snake print.
Camel Coat
You just can’t go wrong with a classic, and when it comes to winter outerwear that’s the camel coat. I personally love knee-length styles.
Stay warm! It’s going to be a longggggg winter.
